Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 29, 2026
Jarsl is committed to making our website and tools usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We are actively working to meet and maintain the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
Our commitment
We believe our free real estate calculators, templates, and educational content should be available to everyone. Accessibility is an ongoing effort at Jarsl, and we treat it as a normal part of how we build and maintain the site rather than a one-time project.
Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the standard most widely referenced for making web content more accessible to people with a range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, and cognitive disabilities. We describe our status as "partially conformant," which means some parts of the content may not yet fully meet the standard while we continue to improve.
Measures we take
To support accessibility, we have built the site with practices that include:
- Semantic HTML structure with clear headings and a main content landmark on each page.
- A "skip to main content" link so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass the navigation.
- Text labels or accessible names on form fields, buttons, and interactive controls.
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images.
- Color combinations chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios for text.
- Full keyboard operability, with visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
- A responsive layout that supports zoom and reflow on phones, tablets, and desktops without loss of content.
- Menu controls that communicate their expanded or collapsed state to assistive technology.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may remain. In particular, certain third-party components we rely on, such as the embedded checkout provided by Gumroad, are outside our direct control, and our downloadable PDF resources may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers. We are working to address these areas and to improve them over time. If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we would like to hear about it.
Feedback & how to reach us
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Jarsl. If you experience any difficulty using this website, need a document or tool result in an alternative format, or want to report an accessibility barrier, please contact us:
- Email: support@jarsl.com
Please include the web address (URL) of the page and a description of the problem. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information you need or to resolve the issue.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility standards and our own site both evolve, so we review accessibility as we add or update features and welcome reports that help us find and fix issues. This statement will be updated as our tools and content change.
