Appointment and refusal of the Spain visa is the subject of an important press release from BLS Algeria

BLS International, the service provider for Spain visa applications in Algeria, has issued an important press release to applicants. This document specifies the appeal procedure in the event of a visa refusal and provides clear information on application agreements.

In a press release published on its official website, BLS International Algeria states that from October 13, 2024, people whose Schengen visa application has been rejected can file an appeal directly at the BLS International center in Oran. This service will be available every working day between 13.00 and 15.00. Applicants must file their appeal within 30 days of receiving notification of rejection.

It is therefore important for those who have received a refusal to meet this deadline so that their case is taken into account. After this period, any appeal request will be automatically rejected. In addition, the BLS recommends that applicants submit their application up to six months before the planned travel date. It is advisable to collect all necessary documents before making your appointment to avoid delays or potential complications.

New distribution of Spain visa agreements

At the same time, BLS International announced a reorganization of appointments for the Schengen visa application to Spain, from 10 November 2024. Appointments will now be classified into four categories, based on the applicants’ profile and their Schengen visa history. Here are the categories established by BLS International:

  • Oran 1: For those who have never received a Schengen visa or whose last visa is from before 2020.
  • Oran 2: For those who received their last Schengen visa after 1 January 2020, with a valid duration of six months or less.
  • Oran 3: For applicants whose last Schengen visa, obtained after 1 January 2020, was valid for between six months and two years.
  • Oran 4: For those who received their last Schengen visa after 1 January 2020, with a valid duration of two years or more.

Specific requirements by category

Applicants in Oran categories 2, 3 and 4 must present a copy of their most recent Schengen visa when applying. If the selected category does not match their history, their request will not be accepted and the service fee will not be refunded. In addition, it is possible for couples and families (up to eight people) to submit their requests together in the same file.

The service provider reminds that appointments for the Schengen visa application in Oran are available every day at 20:00 on the BLS website, except Fridays and Saturdays. It is important to be wary of false information circulating on social networks, the only official platform to make an appointment is the BLS website, a completely free service and available without an intermediary.

BLS International emphasizes that there is only one official method of making an appointment: through their website. Any attempt to use intermediaries or unofficial channels exposes applicants to the risk of fraud. BLS also reserves the right to take legal action against those who engage in this fraudulent practice. Applicants are also warned never to share their personal information with third parties.
